I had this problem too: I had to move the base address of my scsi adapter to get around it. You might try using a different address to 210H for GUS port number and see if that helps You can get info on what bits of memory your computer is using for things like mice and the GUS from the MSD program, supplied with DOS6 -- James Andrews, Computer Development Officer, Exeter University Maths Dept ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Apr 1995 14:02:55 -0600 From: Stan Page Subject: GUS Musician's Digest V14 #15 -Reply I am in training between Monday Apr 24 and Friday Apr 28 at the Orem facility. Hi, I'm looking allready for a long time now for a good tracker (dos or windows) that allows you to sample something, or dump CD data in a WAV (to bypass sampling) and then immeadiatly use that sample as an instrument, and sequence the song using a MIDI-keyboard-controller. FastTracker 2 is something like that, but the MIDI support isn't really good . I wonder if there exist a decent tracker with good sampling features & prof. MIDI support....
